1. Who we are

ZipZap Taxi (“ZipZap”, “we”, “us”) operates a B2B technology platform — website, mobile app, and related tools — that connects taxi fleet owners, individual operators, drivers, and travel agents for outstation and intercity bookings. ZipZap is a technology facilitator, not a transport operator: we do not own vehicles, employ drivers, or act as a party to the transport contract between a travel agent and a fleet owner/driver.

2. Who can use the platform

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law.
• Fleet owners, operators, and drivers must complete our verification (KYC) process, including valid driving licence, vehicle registration, permit, and insurance documents, before accepting bookings.
• Travel agents must provide accurate business details at registration and keep them current.

3. What the platform does

ZipZap lets travel agents post outstation trip requirements, and lets verified fleet owners/drivers view, quote, and accept those requirements. Once a booking is accepted, the trip itself — pickup, drop, fare collection, and on-ground service — is carried out directly between the travel agent and the fleet owner/driver. ZipZap is not responsible for the conduct of either party during the trip.

4. Rates, fares, and platform fees

• Trip fares are quoted per kilometre by vehicle category (Hatchback, Sedan/Dzire, Ertiga, Innova Crysta, Hycross) and are agreed directly between the travel agent and the fleet owner/driver at the time of booking.
• Routes under 100 km are billed at the 100 km minimum fare, consistent with standard outstation taxi practice.
• ZipZap may charge a separate platform or facilitation fee for use of the marketplace, shown to users before a booking is confirmed. This fee is distinct from, and does not form part of, the trip fare.

5. Payments

Except where ZipZap explicitly facilitates a payment (such as a platform fee or subscription charge), trip fare payments are made directly between the travel agent and the fleet owner/driver. ZipZap does not hold, escrow, or guarantee trip fare payments unless expressly stated on the platform for a specific feature.

6. Conduct on the platform

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or duplicate booking requirements.
• Circumvent the platform to avoid applicable platform fees after a connection was made through ZipZap.
• Use another user’s account, or share verification credentials.
• Operate a vehicle or accept bookings without valid, current permits, insurance, and licences.
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against another user.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these Terms, provides false verification documents, or is the subject of repeated, credible complaints. Where possible, we’ll notify you of the reason. Our decision on account status is final for platform purposes.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

ZipZap provides the platform on an “as is” basis. We don’t guarantee the availability of any vehicle or driver, or the outcome of any trip. To the extent permitted by law, ZipZap isn’t liable for losses arising from a trip itself, including delays, accidents, disputes over fare, or vehicle condition — these are matters between the travel agent and the fleet owner/driver.

9. Intellectual property

The ZipZap name, logo, app, and platform content are owned by ZipZap Taxi and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the platform with an updated “last updated” date. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [insert city/jurisdiction] shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
